In the course of such activities, situations involving potential conflicts of interest may occasionally arise in relation to both existing and prospective client engagements.
2. Nature of Potential Conflicts
BLG is increasingly engaged in large-scale and complex assignments encompassing multiple areas of law. For such matters, we assemble teams of lawyers with relevant expertise and prior experience.
In certain circumstances, a request for legal services from one client may conflict with the interests of another client. Additionally, changes in factual or legal circumstances may result in the emergence of a conflict of interest in matters where none existed at the outset.

BLG strictly adheres to all applicable legal and ethical requirements governing conflicts of interest, including those set forth in the Law on Advocacy of the Republic of Armenia and the Code of Conduct of Advocates approved by the Chamber of Advocates of the Republic of Armenia.

- Conducting a thorough and strictly confidential internal conflict check prior to accepting any client engagement, to determine whether a conflict exists with the firm’s representation of other clients;
- Participating in ongoing professional training programs organized by the Chamber of Advocates of the Republic of Armenia, which address ethical obligations, conflict management, and client confidentiality;
- Regularly reviewing and updating internal policies, procedures, and safeguards to reflect evolving legal and business environments.
