When there is a leak of personal or confidential information or there is an external cyber attack, such event necessitates an investigation of the facts and dealing with victims, regulators and public relations.

 It is important to keep in mind that in recent years, there is a global trend by legislators to regulate the protection of information which can be disclosed, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the EU, California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
